How do I sign up for the Area Career Center?
To sign up for the ACC, ask your counselor at your home school for an enrollment form. Fill it out completely and return it to your counselor. If you have additional questions that your counselor can't answer, feel free to contact the program instructor, counselor, or main office.

Can I still graduate with a Core 40 Diploma and attend the ACC?
Assuming you have passed your required classes at your home school, ACC students should have no problems achieving Indiana's Core 40 Diploma. And in addition to the Core 40 diploma, ACC students may also qualify for the prestigious Indiana Technical Honors Diploma.

I want to go to college after high school. How would the ACC benefit me?
Excellent question. All ACC programs have or are working toward establishing dual-credit agreements with state and local colleges. These agreements allow students to earn college-credits for free while in high school. Many of the credits will transfer to any college in the state!

I want to go into the military after high school. How would the ACC benefit me?
While the military will certainly take new recruits without skills, they will offer more for recruits who have desirable technical skills. Students can achieve promotion faster, higher pay and higher signing bonuses, and quick access to top-secret clearance if they have technical skills before enlisting in the military.

I'm really struggling with high school. How is the ACC different?
There are numerous ways the ACC is different from a regular high school. One way is that our classes are designed around the expectations of real businesses and industries. The skills you learn in class are the same skills used in the real world!

Another difference is that we have many hands-on learning experiences that are just not available in the typical high school setting. Instead of just learning through a book, ACC classes will have you learn by doing!

I still have more questions. Who can I talk to?
For program specific questions, click on the program title in the listing to the left and e-mail or call the instructor directly. For all other questions about the ACC, please contact our counselor, Mrs. Cindy Lewis.
